cake care

All you need to know about storing your cake.
All cakes are secured with tape to the cake box however, please still do be careful when handling.

storage of cakes/desserts

Our cakes and cupcakes can be left out for 3 to 4 hours in air-con temperature and roughly 1 to 1.5 hours in normal room temperature. Avoid placing the cake/cupcakes under direct heat as the cream and decorations may melt, please note that we will not be liable for such situations.

It is advised to keep the cake in the fridge if the venue is not air-conditioned and take it out at least 1.5 hours before cake cutting to let the cake thaw.
Our cakes are buttercream cakes which will harden in the fridge.

Should you have any left-overs, place them in an airtight container and keep it in the fridge. Before consuming, do take out the desserts 1.5 hours before to thaw.
It is best to consume them within 3 days from collection and note that it may dry up overnight if not kept properly.

decorations on cake

As fondant is extremely to temperature changes, it will start to condense upon any slight temperature change (i.e. fridge to air-con temperature). It will look wet/melty upon condensation however this is normal.

You may leave your cake out with the fondant decorations if your cake cutting is within 3 to 4 hours from collection time. If you wish to keep your cake in the fridge, please remove fondant pieces and only place them on before cake cutting.
Fondant decorations can be kept in normal room temperature, away from heat, during this period.
It is strongly advised to notify us whether or not you are keeping the cake in the fridge so we can pack the fondant decorations separately.

All flowers we use are safe for food and planted organically however they are not edible. If you wish to have edible flowers, please do let us know during the ordering process, additional charges apply.
